It seems SL decided that some of the prims in my boots I posted here were supposed to be inside out. So the boots are coming out simply borked...
If it's happening to one you bought from Donna Lulu, please drop me an IM and send me your folder with the boots, and I'll send you a brand new pair in the box, as I'm getting them fixed right now.
